Payment Policy
This guide describes how payments and refunds are handled for orders submitted through herscheltrip.shop.
Currency and card options
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless checkout states otherwise. The enabled card network list is Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover. Your checkout page identifies the methods you can use for that order. Provider rules and factors such as location or device may affect the list.
Payment checks and order status
Submitting your order allows the provider to validate and authorize the payment option you selected. Receipt messages and payment holds are not proof that an order has been finally accepted or shipped. We will get in touch if a product error, payment failure, fraud review, or stock shortage means the order cannot proceed, and will arrange a suitable correction or refund.
Protecting payment details and resolving errors
Payment credentials are handled through the checkout and payment services presented by the store. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, or account passwords by email. If payment fails, follow the checkout instructions and contact your payment provider. If you see a duplicate pending authorization, ask your provider about its release timing.
Taxes and cross-border charges
Applicable sales taxes and the order total are shown before you submit your order. For deliveries to Canada, the store covers applicable import duties, import taxes, customs-clearance charges, and brokerage fees. You should not be asked to pay additional import charges when the parcel is delivered.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days after the approved return is received and inspected. Your bank or card issuer may need an additional 5–10 business days to display the credit. See our Returns & Refunds policy for the complete process.
